Grimentz, Switzerland Potential New Resort for 2015

I received news this week from Switzerland Tourism that there is a new lift opening in Grimentz this winter. I had a look at this resort a couple of years ago for www.skigower.co.uk . It is a beautiful town, unbelievably quaint and pretty, tucked away near the end of the valley that leads south from Sion in Switzerland towards the Italian border. The skiing was however very restricted, but this new lift ascends the steep mountain and takes skiers to the top of the ski piste at Zinal. This means that Zinal and Grimentz will become one and that is very exciting. I will check this out for our groups for 2015.
